Overview
The Crest WSL is a high-precision industrial slitter rewinder and optional laminator designed for tension-sensitive converters of flexible films, specialty foams and composite laminates. It integrates pneumatic circular slitting, loop-controlled center winding and an optional inline lamination station (including an inline Corona treatment unit) to enable single-pass or dual-pass lamination and slitting workflows while preventing material deformation, telescoping and air inclusion.

Typical workflow (dual-pass example)
PASS 1: Foam activation & adhesive coating
The specialty foam is unwound, passed through the Corona Treatment Unit for surface activation, then a high-tack adhesive layer is laminated under precise nip pressure to guarantee a durable bond.

PASS 2: Plastic backing application & final slitting
The laminated adhesive foam is fed back in; the plastic backing film is applied (Corona unit off) and pneumatic circular knives perform final precision slitting to customer-specified widths while loop-controlled tension preserves roll integrity.
